Sound waves vs. heel pain: can shockwave therapy bring faster relief?

NCT ID NCT07471035

Summary

This study is testing whether a treatment called focused shockwave therapy helps people with long-lasting heel pain from plantar fasciitis. Twenty participants will be split into two groups: one gets the shockwave treatment plus special exercises, while the other does exercises alone at first. Researchers will track pain levels, walking ability, and changes in the foot tissue using ultrasound to see if the shockwave therapy leads to faster improvement.
