Sound waves to thaw frozen shoulders?

NCT ID NCT06490172

Summary

This study is testing if a non-invasive treatment called extracorporeal shock wave therapy can help people with chronic frozen shoulder. It will involve 18 adults whose shoulder pain and stiffness hasn't improved with standard treatments like physiotherapy. The researchers aim to see if this therapy is practical to study further and if it can reduce pain and improve shoulder movement and function.
