Summary

This study is testing whether a treatment using sound waves (shock wave therapy) works better than traditional physical therapy exercises for people with chronic knee arthritis. Researchers will compare how well each method reduces pain and improves knee movement and stiffness. The trial involves 40 adults aged 40 and older who have had knee pain for at least three months.
