Summary

This study tested two methods to relieve shoulder pain in people who have had a stroke. Researchers compared standard physical therapy alone to therapy plus either shock wave treatment or a nerve-blocking injection. They measured pain levels and shoulder movement in 67 patients over three months to see which approach worked best.
