Shock waves target pinched nerve pain

Summary
This study is testing if a treatment called focused extracorporeal shock wave therapy can help people with chronic pain from a pinched nerve in the neck. Researchers will compare shock wave therapy plus physical therapy to physical therapy alone in 48 patients. They will measure changes in pain levels, muscle tenderness, grip strength, and nerve function to see if the shock waves provide extra relief.
