This study tested whether shock wave therapy on neck trigger points can reduce headaches that start from the neck. 135 adults with chronic neck pain and headaches received either low-dose, medium-dose, or fake shock wave therapy plus exercises. Researchers measured headache disability and muscle activity to see which dose works best.
