Shock waves to ease stiff muscles in kids with CP

NCT ID NCT07476690

Summary

This study is testing how often a non-invasive shock wave therapy should be given to best reduce muscle stiffness in children with cerebral palsy. Children will receive either a fake treatment, one real session per week, or two real sessions per week, along with their usual physical therapy. Researchers will measure changes in stiffness, balance, walking, and muscle properties to find the most effective schedule.
