Shingrix vaccine study aims to protect older HIV patients

Summary

This study checks if the Shingrix vaccine, which prevents shingles, works as well in people over 50 with HIV as it does in healthy adults of the same age. About 225 participants will be followed for a year to measure their immune response and any side effects. The goal is to better protect this group from shingles.
