Can the shingles shot protect aging immune systems?

NCT ID NCT05575830

Summary

This study is checking how well the newer shingles vaccine (Shingrix) works and how safe it is for people over 50 who are living with HIV and taking long-term medication. Researchers are comparing their immune response to that of healthy adults of the same age over one year. The goal is to see if the vaccine provides strong protection against shingles for this group.
