Sheep scaffold tested to speed healing of exposed bone and tendon

Summary
This study aims to see if a material made from sheep stomach, combined with a wound vacuum, helps cover exposed bone or tendon faster than the vacuum alone. It will involve 30 adults with serious traumatic wounds on their arms or legs. Researchers will measure how quickly new tissue grows over the exposed structures.
