Diabetes drug may fight anemia in kidney patients

Summary

This study will test whether SGLT2 inhibitor drugs, typically used for diabetes, can help improve anemia in people with chronic kidney disease. Researchers will measure changes in hemoglobin levels in 60 adult participants with stable anemia. The goal is to see if these medications offer a new way to manage this common and challenging complication of kidney disease.
