Could a diabetes pill ease heart muscle disease?

Summary

This study tests whether sotagliflozin, a drug used for diabetes, can help adults with a type of heart muscle thickening called nonobstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. About 26 participants will take the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks, then switch to the other for another 12 weeks. Researchers will check if it improves exercise ability, heart function, and daily symptoms, while monitoring safety.
