First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study watches 300 adults who take SGLT-2 inhibitors (a type of diabetes medicine) after they have surgery. Researchers want to see how often a rare condition called euglycemic diabetic ketoacidosis (EDKA) happens in the recovery room. They will also track how long patients stay in the hospital and any complications. The goal is to learn more about risks, not to test a new treatment.
