New shot aims to tame unruly lupus

NCT ID NCT07447986

Summary

This study is testing whether a new injectable drug called SG301 can help control the symptoms and disease activity of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). It will involve about 120 adults with moderate-to-severe lupus who haven't responded well to standard treatments. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real drug or a placebo (dummy) injection to see if SG301 is safe and effective.
