NCT ID NCT07286500
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether sexual activity increases the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) in adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who use insulin and a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). One hundred participants will mark their sexual activity in a CGM app for 3 months, and researchers will compare glucose levels on days with and without sexual activity. The goal is to provide clear information to help people with diabetes manage their health without fear.
