First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study followed 912 men and women over 60 in France who were hospitalized for a severe bone fracture caused by a minor fall. Researchers tracked how many had another severe fracture or died within 2 and 5 years. The goal was to better understand long-term outcomes, not to test a new treatment.
