New hope for bone marrow failure: major trial tests drug combo to rebuild blood cells
NCT ID NCT07345000
Summary
This study is testing whether adding an experimental drug called romiplostim N01 to standard immunosuppressive therapy works better than standard therapy alone for people newly diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia. It will involve 210 participants who have not yet received treatment for this serious bone marrow condition. The main goal is to see if more people achieve a complete recovery of their blood cell counts after six months of treatment.
