Real patients vs. textbooks: which teaches future therapists more?

NCT ID NCT07267832

Summary

This study tested if working directly with older adults in the community helps physiotherapy students learn better than traditional classroom methods. Researchers split 83 students into two groups: one group designed and ran real health programs for seniors, while the other group learned the same material only in class. The goal was to see which approach improved students' motivation, empathy, and engagement in their studies.
