First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a blood test for a protein called LRG can tell if the gut lining has healed in people with ulcerative colitis. Researchers will check blood samples and compare them with colonoscopy results. The goal is to find a less invasive way to monitor the disease. About 100 people with active ulcerative colitis will take part.
