Summary
This study is testing if a measurement called the Capillary Leak Index (CLI) is better than standard blood tests at predicting which patients will survive a severe abdominal infection after surgery. It will involve 100 critically ill adults in the ICU. The goal is to find a more accurate way to identify patients at the highest risk of death within 28 days.
