New dye combo may spot ovarian cancer spread more precisely
NCT ID NCT05937620
First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether two special dyes (ICG and a radioactive tracer) can accurately find the first lymph nodes where ovarian cancer might spread. About 62 women with early-stage ovarian cancer will receive both dyes during surgery. The goal is to see if this method can help doctors remove fewer lymph nodes while still catching any cancer spread.
