First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding sensory integration therapy (activities that help the brain organize sensory information) to standard balance exercises can improve balance, thinking, and daily independence in children with cerebral palsy. Twenty-two children aged 6 to 10 took part in a 12-week program. The goal was to see if this combined approach works better than balance exercises alone.
