First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a sensory mindfulness technique could improve well-being and reduce stress in mothers whose babies are in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and who are feeding their babies with expressed breast milk. Sixty mothers participated, learning mindfulness practices alongside standard breastfeeding education. The goal was to see if this approach helps mothers feel better and potentially supports milk production.
