First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding sensory and cognitive activities—like listening to music, gentle touch, or simple brain games—to standard ICU care can help adults recover after heart surgery. Researchers will measure anxiety, vital signs, and physical function in 125 patients. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to improve recovery and comfort in the intensive care unit.
