New study aims to improve pain relief after lung cancer surgery

Summary
This study looks at three different ways to give a nerve block (injecting numbing medicine near the spine) to control pain after lung surgery. The goal is to find which method works best to keep patients comfortable. About 90 adults having lung surgery will take part. The results could help doctors provide better pain relief and reduce the need for strong painkillers.
