Scientists probe the hidden pain of sensitive scalps
NCT ID NCT07156422
Summary
This study aims to understand the biological reasons behind sensitive scalp, a condition that causes tingling, burning, or itching. Researchers will compare skin samples from 40 women—20 with the condition and 20 without—to look for differences in genes, proteins, and nerves. The goal is to gather knowledge that could inform future treatments, but this study itself does not test any new therapies.
