New pill targets rare gene to shrink tumors in advanced cancers

Summary
This study tests a daily pill called selpercatinib in people with advanced solid tumors or medullary thyroid cancer that have a specific RET gene change. The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors and how safe it is. About 77 participants in China will take the drug, and doctors will measure tumor response using scans.
