New drug cocktail shows promise for stubborn blood cancer

NCT ID NCT03589222

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of four drugs (selinexor, bortezomib, dexamethasone, and daratumumab) in 62 adults with multiple myeloma that has returned or not responded to prior treatments. The goal is to see how many patients achieve a significant reduction in cancer. Because treatment continues indefinitely and aims to control the disease rather than cure it, this is a disease-control approach.
