Head-to-Head: which talk therapy best boosts Self-Esteem?
NCT ID NCT06101810
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two talk therapies is better at improving self-esteem in adults receiving mental health care. Researchers will compare Competitive Memory Training (COMET), which uses imagination exercises, with a more traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. About 70 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two 9-week therapy programs to see which one works better and if it also helps with feelings of anxiety or depression.
