Can feeling more human reduce suicidal thoughts? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT06713473

Summary

This study aims to understand if feeling 'less than human' is a risk factor for suicidal thoughts. Researchers will test a brief psychological exercise designed to reduce these feelings in 50 adults. They will measure changes in suicidal thoughts and levels of oxytocin, a hormone linked to social connection, to see if the exercise helps.
