New french questionnaires aim to better diagnose dizziness and detachment disorders
NCT ID NCT05249283
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested French versions of two questionnaires: one measures feelings of detachment from oneself (depersonalization), and the other helps diagnose a chronic dizziness condition called PPPD. Researchers enrolled 612 adults with and without balance disorders to ensure the translations are accurate and reliable. The goal is to improve diagnosis and understanding of these conditions, not to test a new treatment.
