Summary
This study looked at whether women who have an abortion are more likely to keep using a birth control shot if they can inject it themselves at home versus getting it from a nurse. About 263 women in Chicago chose either the self-injected or the nurse-given shot and were followed for 6 months. The goal was to see which method helps women stick with birth control longer, which can prevent future unplanned pregnancies.
