First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether women aged 18-30 with painful periods can reduce their pain and PMS symptoms by pressing on specific body points themselves. Over six months, 120 participants will either do real acupressure or a sham version. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free technique can lessen pain and the need for painkillers.
