First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether teaching older adults to press on specific points on their body (self-administered acupressure) can reduce knee pain from osteoarthritis. About 368 people aged 60 and older in Hong Kong community centers will take part. Researchers want to see if this simple, drug-free method works in real-world settings and could be used on a larger scale.
