New camera system spots hidden signs of awareness in brain injury patients

NCT ID NCT07560631

First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026

Summary

This study tests a computer system called SeeMe that uses cameras to detect very small movements in people with severe traumatic brain injury. Current exams can miss these movements, leading to misdiagnosis. The goal is to see if SeeMe can find signs of consciousness earlier and more accurately than standard methods.
