Scientists find the best schedule to break up your sitting time
NCT ID NCT05622006
Summary
This study aimed to find out if taking breaks from sitting helps your body process sugar and fats better, and if the timing of those breaks matters. Researchers tested 25 adults with desk jobs by having them sit for long periods and try different schedules of walking breaks. The goal was to gather knowledge to help create better health advice about reducing sitting time.
