Summary

This study compares two common sedation drugs, propofol and remifentanil, used to keep patients comfortable during a diagnostic stomach scope (gastroscopy). Researchers are testing which drug helps patients wake up faster and feel better afterward, while also being safe and satisfactory for the doctor performing the procedure. The trial involves 80 adults having a planned, non-emergency scope.
