Summary

This study looks at two common sedatives, dexmedetomidine and ketamine, in ICU patients recovering from emergency abdominal surgery due to severe infection (sepsis). The goal is to see which drug better controls inflammation and keeps blood pressure stable. Only 2 adults who need a breathing tube and sedation after surgery will take part.
