Summary
This study is testing a second stem cell transplant for people with sickle cell disease or beta-thalassemia whose first transplant is starting to fail. The goal is to cure the disease by making more room in the patient's bone marrow for healthy donor cells. The trial is for patients aged 4 and older who have a related donor and are experiencing a return of their disease symptoms.
