Summary

This study is for people with sickle cell disease or beta-thalassemia whose first stem cell transplant didn't fully work and their disease came back. It offers a second transplant to try to get more donor cells into the bone marrow. Participants will receive drugs to prepare their body and then get donor stem cells, followed by close monitoring for up to 5 years. The goal is to control the disease and prevent rejection of the donor cells.
