New self-sticking sealant aims to better protect kids' teeth from cavities

Summary
This study will test if a new self-adhesive flowable composite (Vertise Flow) works better than standard sealant (Helioseal-F) to protect the grooves of children's permanent molars from cavities. About 88 healthy children aged 6-8 with high cavity risk will receive one of four treatments, with or without a minor groove-enlarging procedure (fissurotomy). The main goal is to see which approach keeps the sealant in place best over 12 months.
