First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study will test if a newer, self-sticking dental material works better than a standard sealant to protect children's permanent molars from cavities. About 88 healthy kids aged 6-8 with high cavity risk will receive one of four treatments, and the sealants will be checked over a year. The goal is to see which approach keeps the sealant on longer and prevents tooth decay more effectively.
