First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests a new device called the SEAL™ system to treat brain aneurysms (a bulging, weak spot in a blood vessel). The device is placed inside the aneurysm to block blood flow and prevent rupture. The trial includes 279 people aged 22 to 80 with either unruptured or recently ruptured aneurysms. The main goal is to see if the device safely seals the aneurysm within 12 months without narrowing the parent artery or needing additional treatment.
