New lattice device aims to seal brain aneurysms without surgery

Summary

This study tests a new device called SEAL that is placed inside a brain aneurysm to block blood flow and prevent rupture. About 279 people with either unruptured or recently ruptured aneurysms will receive the treatment. The main goal is to see if the aneurysm stays sealed after 12 months without needing further procedures.
