First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether a gel form of silver diamine fluoride works as well as the liquid form to stop cavities in preschool children. About 630 healthy kids with at least one cavity will receive treatment every six months for 30 months. The goal is to see if the gel hardens cavities and prevents them from getting worse.
