Skin biopsy study seeks to unlock how Anti-Wrinkle treatment works
NCT ID NCT07342400
Summary
This study aims to understand how a cosmetic treatment called Sculptra (poly L-lactic acid) changes the skin of menopausal women with moderate-to-severe cheek wrinkles. Researchers will enroll about 40 women and take small skin samples (punch biopsies) before and after treatment to analyze protein changes. The main goal is to gather scientific knowledge about how this treatment stimulates the skin, not to test its cosmetic effectiveness.
