New hope for advanced lung cancer: experimental combo targets tumors
NCT ID NCT07609251
First seen May 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding the experimental drug SCTB41 to standard chemotherapy (docetaxel) can better control advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has worsened after prior treatment. About 90 adults with stage IIIB/IV disease will receive either the combo or a placebo plus docetaxel. The goal is to see if the new combination improves tumor shrinkage and delays cancer growth while monitoring side effects.
