Summary
This study aims to find out how many children in the general population have familial hypercholesterolemia, a genetic condition that causes very high cholesterol and greatly increases the risk of early heart disease. Researchers will screen 300 children aged 2 to 18 using a simple blood test after fasting. The goal is to improve early detection so that kids can start healthy habits and treatment early, preventing serious problems later in life.
