Summary

This study tested a new scoring tool (GLORI-COPD) to see how well it can identify COPD patients who are at risk of serious complications, like lung infections. Researchers studied 462 smokers or former smokers aged 35 and older who had not been previously diagnosed with COPD. The goal is to help doctors in general practice find high-risk patients early so they can get timely care.
