NCT ID NCT07517471

First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study aims to find better ways to diagnose tuberculosis (TB) in countries where it is common. Current methods miss many cases, especially in people without symptoms. The trial will test using AI to read chest X-rays and simple tongue or spit swabs to screen 37,000 adults and teens in clinics across five countries. The goal is to see if these newer tools can catch more TB cases earlier and get people treated faster.
